Celebrate Pac-Man’s 30th Anniversary With Free Play on Google

Everyone's favorite gluten for gobbling Pac-Man has turned 30 years old (not sure what that is in Pac-Years). The ghost chomper has been the star of arcade and console games, children's books, cartoons and even a hit single. Now he's officially become a member of the cyber age because today only, in celebration of Pac-Man's 30th Anniversary, Google has a free version of the game to play right on their home page.

Now while it has all of the elements of Pac-Man, the Google version isn't exactly the original arcade hit. The maze has been redesigned to spell the words "Google" (of course), and there are several safe spots where the ghosts will never get at you unless they are right on your tail (sit under the "T" shaped part of the maze at the bottom of the screen). Regardless the game will bring back memories you haven't had since you last played the game...and it's pretty darn cool...and free!
